    Concord School Song

    Theme from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony

    “Ode to Joy”

We at Concord make a difference,

We are proud and we believe.

Concord is the place to learn,

And grow and live in harmony.

We are one, we’re working together,

Trying to live the Golden Rule.

Friends and fam’ly all are we,

    At Concord Elementary School.

    Golden Rule

    Golden Rule, Golden Rule

Live Your life by the Golden Rule.

    Do unto others,

as you would have them do, unto you

    Live the Golden Rule.

    (Sing 2 times)

    You’re A Grand Old Flag

    You’re a Grand Old Flag

    You’re a high flying flag,

And forever in peace may you wave.

    You’re the emblem of

    The land I love,

The home of the free and the brave.

Every heart beats true for the red, white and blue.

Where there’s never a boast or brag.

But should auld acquaintance be forgot,

Keep your eye on the Grand Old Flag.

I'm a Bucket Filler! (by Carol McCloud)

I'm a Bucket Filler, each and every day.

Kind things I do, kind things I say.

And I do my best, not to ever dip.

And I say I'm sorry, if I ever slip.

If I'm feeling bad, about what someone did.

I try to understand, that's how I use my lid.

If we follow these rules, and do all three.

Our buckets stay full, hooray for you and me.

    Hooray for you and me!

    Hooray for you and me!

    Reading, Writing

    Verse 1

    Reading, writing is so cool.

I write stories in my school.

    Refrain

    I love to write,

    I love to write.

    Verse 2

    Alphabet letters make great words.

What new stories have you heard?

    Refrain

    Sing Out

    1.  Sing out for your country,

     It’s been good to you.

    2.  Sing out for its people,

     And it’s heroes too.

    3.  Sing out for the flag that’s,

     Red, and white, and blue.

    4.  Repeat verse 1

    This Land is Your Land

    Refrain

    This land is your land

    This land is my land.

    From California,

    To the New York Island.

    From the Red Wood Forest,

    To the Gulf Stream Waters.

This land was made for you and me.

    Verse 1

    As I was walking,

    That ribbon of highway,

    I saw above me,

    That endless skyway.

    I saw below me,

    That golden valley.

This land was made for you and me.

    Refrain

    Nice Words

    Speak kindly to others,

    Let’s act smart!

    Nice words, thoughts, and actions

    Help impart,

    Helpfulness to all,

    Thoughtfulness to all,

    Friendliness and courtesy.

    Helpfulness to all,

    Thoughtfulness to all,

    Friendliness and courtesy.

    We Can Work It Out!

    Verse 1

When we see things a different way,

We don’t blame call names or fight.

We’ll ask questions and listen too,

So we can make things right.

    Refrain (repeat)

Together (clap) we can work it out,

Yes, we can work it out.
