Concord
Our School

Concord Home and School Association is responsible for fundraising activities which earn funds for our school’s classroom projects, extracurricular educational opportunities, student assemblies and much more.  Our funds this year will focus on meeting the needs of our children and staff during the current year including any additional programs that will promote the students’ academic achievement and well-being.

Concord Home and School Association also coordinates fun time activities for our students, family fun night, the Scholastic Book Fair, our fall and spring ice cream socials and many other special events.  We also strive to emphasize the importance of our school’s involvement in community service such as Martin Luther King Week of Service held in January.  The success of Concord’s HSA depends largely on the efforts of our Concord families.  We hope that you will become an active member of Concord HSA this year.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact one of our board members.

Our Home and School meetings take place the first Thursday of the month in the LGI Room at Concord Elementary School.  Please check the calendar as the meetings alternate between the morning and the evening.  HSA meetings provide parents with information about up-coming events and the planning progress of these events.  We encourage your to attend these meetings to keep up-to-date on Concord School’s events, to keep actively involved in your child’s education and to enjoy the opportunity to meet many wonderful people in the Garnet Valley community.

We look forward to an amazing 2012-2013 school year!
