The Garnet Valley Education Foundation is sponsoring and organizing the creation of a Hall of Fame as a means of recognizing, preserving and promoting the proud traditions of excellence of the district. Upon graduation and as a result of the education they received in this school community, many individuals have made extraordinary contributions and achieved remarkable accomplishments. The Garnet Valley School District Hall of Fame honors the contributions and accomplishments of these individuals who are worthy of recognition and examples for others to emulate.
As a community member and interested individual, please nominate a Garnet Valley School District graduate whose contributions were extraordinary in one or all of the following areas: Arts and Athletics, Business and Innovation, and Service and Humanitarianism. The nominee’s accomplishments must have garnered local, regional, and/or national recognition.
The Selection Committee is accepting nominations for the first induction into the hall of fame beginning immediately and ending Thursday, September 1, 2016. The first annual Hall of Fame Induction sponsored by the Garnet Valley School District Education Foundation will take place on Thursday, October 13th with a dinner and reception at the Concordville Inn. The district will also recognize the Hall of Fame inductees at half time of the Garnet Valley High School Homecoming football game on Friday, October 14th.
The Garnet Valley Education Foundation is honored to sponsor the Hall of Fame, and it looks forward to the beginning of another proud tradition in the school community!
