💬 Are coaches administrators or teachers?
Garnet Valley’s instructional coaches are teachers, and fall under the same collective bargaining contract (CBA) as all other teachers. They are not supervisors and do not evaluate teachers in any official capacity.
Garnet Valley’s Technology Support Specialists are the backbone of each school’s daily tech and non-tech operations. Stationed in every building, our team provides real-time support to staff and students and ensures that devices, networks, and classroom technology run smoothly. Their quick response prevents small technical issues from escalating into larger disruptions. From troubleshooting hardware to assisting with software and digital tools, our Technology Support Specialists play a vital role in maintaining a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly learning environment. Their presence ensures that the district’s technology systems not only function, but thrive.
